The purpose of this ePortfolio is to showcase the projects I complete during my time at the University of Florida while pursuing my Master's Degree. I live in the Winter Strawberry capital of Florida, Plant City. I have lived here for 12 years, and reside with my longtime partner and our 6 cats and 1 dog. Fun Fact! All our animals have a name that starts with the letter B. I have been an educator for 8 years and have worked in various settings (private, public-charter, and public, magnet-IB school). I have a big interest in technology and have since 5th grade where I began my journey in Television production, I continued that passion throughout my years of schooling, and even took some additional courses along the way, business technology, graphic design, and joined a technology club, technology student association. I am excited to explore and learn more in this field, keep a running electronic record, and share it! :)

Bonus Project: App Inventor
Mobile Game
Creating my music‑note collection game in MIT App Inventor was both exciting and challenging. The process required me to carefully plan the mechanics—player movement, note spawning, scoring, and a countdown timer—while also troubleshooting issues like text alignment, timers not resetting, and the “Game Over” message persisting after restart. It was difficult at times, and I found myself saving multiple copies of the project so I could restart or roll back to earlier versions whenever something broke. I retested steps over and over until they worked just right, which taught me the importance of persistence, iteration, and attention to detail in mobile app development.
Despite the challenges, the usability of App Inventor made it possible to visualize logic and prototype quickly, even when I had to backtrack. Each round of debugging brought me closer to a polished game, and I’d like to keep working on this project until it fully matches my vision—an engaging, joyful app with smooth gameplay, dramatic feedback, and clear visuals. Looking ahead, I plan to explore more advanced features in App Inventor and eventually branch into platforms like Flutter or Kotlin to expand my skills. My goal is to refine this project into a finished product while continuing to grow my knowledge of mobile app development.
